With the strikes in Hollywood, going on and how the people on top says things like “Oh, we aren’t worried, when they run out of money and starve they will come crawling back to us.” It’s got me thinking, I wonder if we should join in on the trend. It’s not just Hollywood in trouble. Waitstaff, grocery workers, hotel staff, hairdressers, car repair, delivery drivers, construction workers, whatever. You name it. We all are needed. It was proven when everything shut down back in 2020. Society collapses when workers don’t work. All those up top take all the money and we are getting kicked out of apartments, because rent is too high and forget ever owning a home. Not to mention food prices and skipping meals. Forget having children if you want any. Medication and doctors visits are impossible to get even with insurance. I can go on for hours about everything wrong. But you all get the picture.
It’s getting bad out there for all of us. I think it’s time to do something to fight back like our French brothers and sisters. Strike like the Hollywood folks. I wish I was knowledgeable on exactly what to do something about this, but im screaming into the void and maybe more out here can listen and we all can come together to do.. something. I would definitely would do whatever I could do to help. I would jump in if more events were out there. The peasants eventually have had enough and we no longer have kings. Why stop there? We need to keep doing what we are doing so far. “Quiet quitting”, finding new jobs, starting our own businesses, striking, etc. not even just about jobs. It’s also healthcare, the abuse to the poor, disabled, people of color and women, unaffordable housing, the laws, police, the environment. They will continue to take until it’s all gone.
Whatever we possibly can do in our own lives even if it’s small. We need a change. Thanks for listening to my rant.
TLDR: We should follow the example of our friends in Hollywood and put more pressure on the elites because we have had enough. We can’t continue to survive like this much longer.
