This executive has made the past couple weeks for me a living hell. Accusing me of not processing paperwork, payments, and ignoring emails- nitpicking on time etc.
Today, after sending an email over the weekend about a missed payment that actually was made and being told to check with me before accusing me, she walked over to my desk in a public cubicle setting. I had YouTube going on my phone, but when I saw I turned my phone over, as a sign of respect to give her my full attention. I guess she thought I was scared of her because proceeded to berate me about my phone, the payment, why she wasn’t notified it was made, why the address (that she inputted into the system) was incorrect. She than told me to stay off my phone, smirked at me, and walked off.
I was so angry I had to go to the restroom because I was shaking and in tears. After I composed myself I walked into the lounge and she was sitting there with a group of people and looked over at me and tried to call me over but I ignored her and she went to my director who, without directly saying it, implies she’s crazy and does this to everyone.
My question is how do I handle this? I’m fairly new at this job, it’s good money, everyone else is nice, and I need this job. But I’m afraid if she does this again I’m going to snap on her and tell her to fuck right off. I don’t want to speak to her alone every again. How do I convey this to my boss?
I appreciate any advice
