My boss loves to reduce our fee proposal and then go after more projects to make up for the lost fees. As a result, we're just overworked working on too many projects for the same fees and time. He cut $340k from one proposal and took part of the team to pursue a $175k project.
When folks have brought up the time issue, he says that “Architecture is not a 40 hour week profession.”
Recently he quoted “Work sets you free”.
Is it time to look for a new job?
