I'm in the market for a job, and I'm currently pursuing a part time job with a small, regional supermarket chain. They have 5 stores in 3 small cities in the PNW.
How do I make the best use of the union? I need specifics,, details,, scenarios, etc.
Talk to me like I know nothing except 1) unions are the reason workers have any leverage or normalcy at all today, 2) what little they do have today is because of widespread deunionization efforts, beginning under Reagan in the 1980s and continuing to today, and 3) unions manage to get things done.
