I work in an at-will state. My manager is a personal friend of 10+ years, well before he hired me.
We recently had reviews and we received raises. I was asked not to share what I got because we all didn’t get the same and “it could start a riot”. I have a deal with another coworker to share this information, however I don’t want to risk retaliation by upper management for potentially causing trouble. How do I start the riot while also keeping my job secure?
