How have you been gaslighted?

I think companies gaslight workers all the time. A few times I've been gaslighted: Calling in sick: (When on the phone): “I understand that you're not feeling 100%, but just come in and try your best. I know you won't be as efficient as normal, and that's OK.” (When in work and sluggish and exhausted due to lingering sickness): “You need to learn to hustle!” ​ Promotions: (After I asked how I would get a promotion): “We need to see how you expanded your role–how you did more than what was asked of you and made yourself more valuable than before.” (When trying to do anything beside strictly-defined duties.): “You need to stay in your lane. We have people for that problem, and we don't need your help there.” (When explaining why I didn't get a promotion): “You never showed initiative–you never took on anything on your own; you only…
