How internships must be.

I see all these companies in LinkedIn posting Internship roles for graduates of 1 or 2 years and even for experienced. in these cases I am at the point where I basically call these scams. Companies KNOW what advantage they can take of hires when they are just an intern of an employee. They are liable for basically nothing from benefits to job security. Laws are pretty strong for labour but everything is a grey area for intern in India. They are rarely a part of EPF (retirement fund) too. Having said that, I feel intern roles should only be for students who have 0 experience and should never be more than 3 months. They should be served a 2-weeks notice if they are not going to convert them to full-time employees. Certificates of experience should be mandatory and they must at least have a retirement fund.
