Hello Friends…
I was told by the payroll department there was a “glitch” in payroll, and I will be getting a paper check mailed to me instead of Direct Deposit. I usually get paid at 5 pm on Thursday. My employer sent me an email saying it should arrive Friday or Saturday. But here it is Saturday and no check. Which means I have to wait until Monday's mail. My next scheduled workday is Tuesday. If I am not paid in Monday's mail should I not come into work on Tuesday? To my knowledge I was the only person not paid. I want to give them “reasonable” time to fix it. But on the other hand I want to let them know that this isn't cool. I've worked for companies that were slow paying or not paying and they are no longer in business.
