2 weeks into my new job and I'm already wanting to call it quits.
I cannot work with this guy who has been training me. He is so fucking overbearing, bossy, arrogant, tries to act like my boss. The guy is still new too himself to top it all off.
2 hours into my shift tonight I almost decided to say I wasn't feeling well and go home, because I'm about to snap.
He says to me “don't ever just be standing around, always ask me for the next task”. Which he also said that to me just the other day. Apparently our lead has been “bitching” but I haven't heard her say anything at all.
Okay so I grab the swiffer to clean the floor so I'm not “standing around”. He immediately berates me and tells me to go do this instead.
All night long it's non-stop barking orders. I'm standing there for 1 minute and he's gotta say something. YOU ARENT MY BOSS WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF.
I don't think I can keep working with this guy. Idk how to deal with him. And I'm not gonna say anything to anyone, not even our lead because I know it won't matter. I had high hopes for this job and this guy is ruining it for me. I hate being here.
