How to handle a boss who likes to speak on your behalf in meetings?

I’m a woman and have a male boss who likes to speak on my behalf on the status of my projects instead of letting me speak for myself and what I’ve worked on which is the basis for these meetings. I work at a very small company and there’s about 5-6 people in the meeting in total. I tried to speak up and say “I can add more to this when it’s my turn to speak” but seemed like he found that offensive and told the facilitator to skip me. What’s the best way to shut someone down from doing this? I find it sexist :/
