I figured the people that follow this group would be the perfect people to ask this question of. I have been given a job to repair a component that has not worked for 10 years (!) and was already trouble-shot and reported and documented by previous crews. But no parts are available. I told my supervisor that all I can do is maybe lay hands on it and offer thoughts and prayers. Now I gotta make an entry on the report. Is there a way to say the above in “professional business speak”?
