How to set boundaries at work when your managers and even managing director is pushing you and your whole team beyond capabilities?
For context, we have been asked to do “research” about AI and how to integrate it in our day-to-day work. Expecting us to deliver output every end of the week, asking us to do research on top of doing our ACTUAL jobs. We have already integrated a couple of AI tools that can actually help us, but they want MORE 🤡 I mean, what more can we possibly present when we're already comfortable with the current AI tool that is helping us.
Good to note that I am not the team leader, and only an underling.
We have deeply expressed our frustrations time and time again that we're just not equipped and that we're already at our limits but it always come back to “You need to do this and that” 🤡. We can't get support and they expect us to fend for ourselves.
One consultant doesn't even know much about their job yet it's easy for them to call out names and throw them to the battlefield like it's a piece of cake. All we want to happen is thay for the consultant to be in our shoes as well but I guess that's not gonna happen.
Just want to vent the frustrations in here and hope it's okay. Can already see the end of the tunnel where they want to replace people with AI haha 🤡 I'll just say good luck with them.
Edit: I love my colleagues and we're all frustrated about this change. Just the managers who sucked.
