Planning to go to HR on my supervisor as I feel I’m being targeted and want to know if I have a leg to stand on here. To start off, the rate in my area is 10 engines prepped up a night. I have trouble meeting that (usually get 6-8) depending on the circumstances. I got written up for being slow and was told to speed up despite me saying that it was unreasonable as I am not allowed to make any mistakes and I have to run 2 stations (one of which is in the middle of someone else’s process). He insists I go faster or be written up again. Sure enough I start getting called out for minor mistakes (mainly pulling the wrong pistons and putting them on the work table but not in the engine) and start being written up. I go to the doctor as I have anxiety and depression and this is making it worse. I get prescribed medicine but get in trouble as the meds make me drowsy. I try to get into a different work station as I’ve seen my supervisor move people around despite being locked in (as I am now). He refuses stating that i’m locked in and cannot be moved. I then get a speaker that sits on your neck to reduce stress but get told it’s not allowed as it’s a distraction (despite other people playing music so loud that the whole assembly line can hear it). There’s more minor stuff but this is the main examples. Do I have a leg to stand on here?
