I am trying to get workplace accommodation because I have PTSD, OCD, anxiety and depression. HR wants me to get a accommodation letter signed even though I told them I have the conditions already and stated what I would want the accommodations to be (part time or flexible breaks).. My family doctor won’t sign any of the accommodation letter and told me I need to go to a Mental Health specialist to have it signed..
I only go through Teladoc and Teladoc can’t sign accommodation letters so when I tried calling around for Mental Health providers around my area, all of them said they are booked until summer 2023.. I emailed HR to ask them what my options are because everywhere is booked and they just sent me employee resources on how to better cope with stress and mental health..
I’ve endured 3 months of full time training without any accommodations. Production starts soon and I am overwhelmed. What should I do?
