Job not paying
Hi Reddit friends, please excuse me as this is my first post.
I’m posting on behalf of my husband, but also myself because this has effected me and my current pregnancy as well.
My husband worked a total of 100.9 hours at a security company in Portland OR, and said company is refusing to pay him.
Payday was already discussed prior and it was supposed to be once a month, that made his first pay date oct 1st. He had worked the 100 hours in September.
We’re now 19 days into October with absolutely no info on where his check is, they’re also trying to withhold it due to him filing a claim. We have emails and texts where they’re openly admitting to withholding his check.
Now the customer service phone at the office no longer works, and BOLI takes 8-10 weeks due to back logs. They’ve not reached out since admitting the withholding.
I’m not sure what else to do here if anyone has any ideas?
