Yesterday I gave my boss a weeks notice that I would be leaving. My new job simply didn’t give me enough time to give my old job 2 weeks and that’s the truth. I was only able to give them 1 week and 2 days .Oh well. So I told my boss, and she’s super shocked tal’n’ bout.. “I didn’t see this coming” well no shit you didn’t, you’re a bad manager lol.
Anyways, today they told everyone in my dept they could go home early and then proceeded to call me into the office and say my last day is actually today. Said that it makes sense for them because the start of their fiscal year is Oct 1.
So I ask, why clear the office to tell me that? Lol? I’m not scary or aggressive.
