Hypothetical application of false advertising laws to job postings

Just had a little brainwave here and wanted to know if anyone has ever considered this. But could a company that say advertises a job posting at a given pay rate or jobs requirements but then changes it at the last minute be liable under false advertising law? Has anyone here legalbros or otherwise ever considered this to be an option?
