So I'm technically a lead. But it's for the night shift so up until the last hour of my shift I have no employees that report to me. Part of my job is to make sure people are taking as many calls as they can. If it gets busy I need to check and make sure everyone's keeping themselves available for calls.
I'm not one to make people ask me to use the restroom that's fine you do you but I am so used to people at least informing me they're stepping away so I don't wonder what they're up to that when an agent left without telling me I felt this urge to lecture him about making sure I know where he is and as I was thinking it I was like “oh dear god no nuh uh that's not me fuck you inner voice”
