I have worked at this deli in a Safeway for a little over a year now and did work here before COVID. I have put a strict 6:30 time on myself due to personal + ride related issues. The ride to work is a family member that has a shitty car with internal problems with the right light so around 6:30 it becomes sundown and very soon gets dark. Any later and we risk getting pulled over. (You can't tell during the day' never have been pulled over for it during the day either.) I am being given later and later times to work going from 6:30 am to 330 pm all the way now to 10 am to 7 pm and I'm fine with closing and leaving by 6:30 but I absolutely gotta go. And they are yelling at me and trying to bully me into staying and I'm not going to. Is there anything I can do to make this full stop or am I relegated to eventually being fired cause of this?
