I asked to leave 20 mins early and the time-sheet has been adjusted. Suggestions on what to say please…

I gave up full-time work in client management this year and now work 4 part-time cleaning jobs. The 6am-8am one has a team of 4 (me being the only guy) and we're all pretty relaxed and get on well. It's just cleaning, it's physically demanding but it's not exactly a prestigious job. The 'supervisor' is a woman aged 67 who has cleaned all her life for the same local council, is not even close to being worldly-wise and is a stickler for following the rules to the letter, i.e they should never be broken and not even bent a little. She's evidently quite afraid of authority. We all generally finish about 40 mins early but we have to sit there until 8am comes. You get the picture. I'm pretty fit, work quickly and respect the fact that I'm working with older ladies and so when I finish my area I go help others out of courtesy. I don't want thanks – it's just my nature. Sadly this appears to have gone unnoticed over the last several months as when I asked if I could leave 20 mins early today, I had to explain why and was then told “Well it should be ok, but we'll see”.

I DID leave when I needed to but I saw my sign-in time being adjusted meaning I'll probably lose an hours pay. It's not the money but the fucking principle; I frequently do this woman's work for her but it's clearly never acknowledged.

I want to say something on Monday when I express surprise at seeing the sheet but I'm crap at that sort of thing. I don't want to be rude but I want to let her know that I'm disappointed etc. Ideas please?
