I despise the “are you looking for a job, or just a job you LIKE?” argument

For context, I made a post saying how hard it is to get a job today, and how we shouldn't make fun of unemployed people for multiple reasons, including this one. A large portion of the comments, were: there are plenty jobs available, you just need to stop being picky. That's a dumb argument, in my opinion. “Stop looking for a job that will make you happy and you'll find one, no problem” is essentially what they are saying. There are plenty reasons why people can't work in jobs like retail or heavy physical labor, anyway. I hate how the capitalistic mindset has taken over people.
