I despise working for my father

The title says it all. I get paid a barely livable salary and I am expected to work like a horse, in the hopes that some day I might be paid better. He is 60 years old and drives a 100k car, while I can barely afford to make ends meet, and buy some cheap clothes every now and then. Thanks to him, I understand why the general population hates rich people. “If you want to succeed you have to work at least 12 hours a day minimum”. Yeah what a great example to set. I should abandon my family and let my kid grow up alone, so I can become an old bitter man complaining about how “young people don’t want to work these days”. Well if you don’t pay people a living wage, they won’t work, who could have thought. I am doing everything I can to leave…

Well if you don’t pay people a living wage, they won’t work, who could have thought. I am doing everything I can to leave the company, and am in the process of finishing a coding bootcamp.

But it hurts to see a person that is a part of my family, as a prime example of why people are leaving my country in droves.
