I am teaching remote classes this summer and also tutoring remotely for a company. They mentioned I have to create some sample content which they will then provide feedback for. They said they will pay for this.
In the same email they mentioned that I should pick two classes next week that I am available to shadow. They didn't mention compensation. Am I not going to be compensated for these shadows?
Granted I don't want to piss them off, once I started teaching, it's a $35/hr gig and it's chill and remote. But it does kinda annoy me how I seemingly am about to do free work / training without getting paid for it.
