4 years ago i call to my boss and told him there is electrical problem with our semi truck ( i am trcuk driver)
” hey boss, my trailers lights are flickerin”
boss: ” yeah ok? just keep driving”
” Just to remind you to get them fixed. they have been flickering for 2 weeks”
” it costs money to fix something that isn't yet broken, they dont know where to look for the problem”
” okey boss, Bye”
Another 2-3 weeks goes by and in this time our trailer is going down to hell. electrical problems, air pressures leaks on the breaks, freezer on the lorry just shit itself ( needs a new engine) and hydraulic leaks jada jada. and finally when our lorry went to mechanic they said “total cost around 10-15K”
Boss calls
Me ” whats up boss”
” why didn't you tell mee there was ALL this problems with the lorry?”
“why should i tell you? i tried telling you for weeks but you didn't want to listen so i gave up. You just didn't want to fix them on time becouse and i quote ” it cost money” so now we dont have trailer for 3-4 days “
Point to this story is that i dont give a fuck anymore about our trucks condition and i let them go to shit before i tell anybody becouse hell it isn't my truck or my company so who gives a damn.
is something broken? dont tell anybody.
truck doesn't have oil? drive till it dies.
Engine light is on? free dicko 🙂
Tldr: my boss want to save money on semitruck repairs so i dont tell him anything about the trucks problems and it cost him 15k
