I was promoted to manager with little training and now the c-suite is passing down really reactive orders to me about people on my team who have made a few mistakes. Rather than train and correct they want them fired. Then they place these crazy expectations in me to be everywhere at once and sit on the meetings. They want me to aasest them and they report back with my findings which feels like why don’t trust me to make assments. I feel so deferred I can’t even enjoy my thanksgiving. I’m so over reactive c-suite vs people willing to help. So I then tend to be reactive to my team tossing info at them giving them rough feedback and now I’m turning into a manager I used to hate.
