I got hired at a braums, and they had me do something that seems a little iffy

it was my second day today, they had me take customer returned Ice cream containers from their little mini grocery area that they had just in the freezer, and dump it into the scooping squares to be served directly so, opinions? and what should I actually do, if I also lose this job I literally will be out of job opportunities so I am kinda reliant on it right now.
