I got told I wasn’t “a good fit for the job” on my fifth day

I got hired at this upscale dining restaurant in the DMV and the interview process went pretty smoothly. They trained me on the salad station which like other restaurants involves desserts or side items. Saturdays are our busier days and I had to ask someone who volunteered to help me if I needed it for help, which I didn't think was a bad thing since I mentioned I'm not afraid to ask for help. I wanted to quit anyways because they only told me they needed me for 2 days out the week. But the pay was decent I guess. I did expect to at least stay for another week because I had experience in the restaurant industry but I guess I wasn't learning things fast enough. I was a little confused and irritated, but I'm glad I didn't waste my gas on a job I was about to leave.
