I had to sign a new egregious policy regarding “sick leave” since my company never had an actual system in place. Never mind how bad the actually policy is, I just need to know if this is actually legal and I need advice on what to do if it isn’t. Explanation attached

So I am a US citizen working OCONUS as a contractor for an American security company. The country I’m currently working in has a SOFA agreement with the USA. Unfortunately because of fear of reprisal, I signed the new policy when it was introduced on the spot. The new policy has a very shitty Sick Leave policy that basically states- Each personnel is allotted 3 sick leave days a year Said personnel will have to inform shift leaders 8 hrs prior of taking sick leave -Said personnel will require a doctors note (no self diagnosing) -Said personnel will have to look for their own replacement -Said personnel will lose their per diem for that day
