Rant incoming, I don't expect solutions but I need to get it off my chest.
So I just had a meeting with the lower manager of our company. He kept telling us how good the company is doing, and how our office is surpassing all the set targets. Meanwhile, the company is lowering our salary because they are decreasing our remote hours and hence the remote allowance. They are also telling us we should be heading back to the office while there is literally nothing there, I had to buy a second monitor, a chair, mouse and keyboard for my home office with my own money. They are also saying that since we met the targets, they are giving us some money to have a nice dinner together, but of course it must be outside work hours, just give me a fucking raise
