Never get into an argument with a random or familiar Boomer. They are arrogant and have a bloated Ego and claim how our current generation is so lazy etc.
Bitch in the office I probably have 10x more stress than you did 40 years ago. I get like 200 Emails and Teams messages a day and finish like 20-30 tasks every day whereas you probably got like 15 Phone calls a day and finished like 2-3 tasks every day.
Its a BIG difference if your stressed because there are 5 tasks after your current one waiting or 50.
I also have to complete much more work much faster – be avaliable 24/7 and work all the time at work wheareas you probably got 2 phone calls from the company while at home during your entire life and probably slacked of half the time you were in the office.
As a Blue Collar Worker you have 10x the stress as well because machines made you much quicker. But your staff is also proabably reduced by half or 2/3 compared to 40 years ago – so even automation is not saving you from having 5x the workload as those damn Boomers who think they had it so hard and were doing so much.
I just dont want to finance the pensions of these people anymore.
