I have 2 part time jobs, one as a waitress and other as a grocery store clerk. I have gotten written up today because I wore nice sweatpants to work for my 8am-11am shift, for checking my phone for my ride while my car is in the shop at the end of my shift and that I was having a bad attitude. There is so many other employees who where sweatpants/leggings and don’t get writing up for it. I don’t have time or money to wash my ONE business pants for every shift. I can’t afford another one. I have difficulty getting carts in because it’s hard to steer 4+ grocery carts into a small doors. NO one talks to me at all about what’s going on in my life to try to understand what’s going on.
I also try explaining how I only work Friday through Sunday at my waitress job to make more money/hours and my HR still schedules me those days. I’m ready to quit but the benefit is great for my family for groceries.
What should I do???
