I have a job interview in two hours, and I need to figure out what to say

I posted here a couple days ago about how my boss got upset with me about picking up more shifts at my second job. My FT job is giving me part time hours and my PT job doesn’t have the availability for FT there. I applied to a few jobs and scored an interview, and this thought just popped into my mind. When they ask me why I’m leaving the company, what can I say that sounds professional? I’m mainly leaving because the pay isn’t decent for the work I do, but before I had the hours that weighed out the low pay. Now I’m not getting the hours I require to survive, but how can I go about saying that where it doesn’t sound like I’m dogging the company I work for. It’s an entirely different field, my FT job is prep work for a food establishment(14.50 an hour),…

It’s an entirely different field, my FT job is prep work for a food establishment(14.50 an hour), my PT job I sell fine jewelry to the rich folk(15.30 an hour). Then my interview is for a key holder position at a shoe store with much larger pay(17 an hour). I desperately need this job, I just got insurance finally for my health and teeth, and I have to pay $256 out of pocket a month for it. If I don’t get this job, I’ll have to pick up a third job to keep my insurance.

Can someone please guide me? This is the first job interview I have had in months, luckily it’s a phone interview, but I want to put my best foot forward. I’ve worked in retail for 6 years, customer facing for 6 years as well, and have been in sales for 3 years now. I have management skills as well, and ran a whole department at the ripe age of 18. I feel like I’m definitely a shoe-in for the position, but I know I get tongue tied on occasion.

If anyone can assist me with scoring this job, I’d greatly appreciate it, or just help me sound a bit more professional? Thank you.
