I have a suspicion my company is breaking sick leave laws

My company lumps pto and sick days together . When you get sick you are forced to use a PTO Day that coulda been used for vacay. It sucks but Fine lots of companies do this . However i started reading the law on this. In my state you have to allow for accrual sick time to build to use this type of pto system. For every 30 hours worked , the employee should accrue 1 hour sick leave . They are allowed to do this up till 40 hours of sick leave have accrued My company does not do this . We have a fixed number of pto days at the beginning of the year and 2 “floating holidays” . Looking for any advice on what to do with this information. Thanks
