I just got a job emailed to me from Indeed. It is for a warehouse supervisor position with Innovative Distribution Services. Here are the best parts:
-
You get to work from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM as a salary employee. And I am willing to bet that the 30 minute lunch is not guaranteed.
-
You have to manage productivity, supervise, train, and discipline employees. And you also have to unload trucks, sort product, and build pallets. Because this is, as described in the job position, is a “working” supervisor position. As if running the entire shift isn't enough.
-
This position pays a whopping $65 – $72,800k a year. I am a retired logistics manager. I recently found a paystub from 2002 when I was making $57k a year only 4 years out of college. Things have gotten a little pricier since then.
It is amazing that you hear a daily story about inflation and no one talks about pay disparity and working conditions. It is a disgrace.
