I’ve been with the same company for over 5 years, and up until this year I’ve enjoyed working here. But so far this year I’ve been forced to return to office, my bonus was slashed in half, and I received a 2% raise for the third year in a row. Then the simple act of speaking out against these things has tarnished my relationships and reputation with management. I had 4 interviews for an internal position that would have solved all of these issues, but just found out I was not selected. I’m done, I feel defeated, and the very thought of getting back on job boards brings me so much anxiety. This sucks and I’m sad and this job is so not worth the hurt I’m feeling today
