I had been at my last company for two years. I had multiple meetings with my boss about a promotion at the beginning of the year, scheduled business trips, and was being assigned tasks I was so excited to be apart of. Then all of a sudden on Friday, people much higher than me and my boss decided to reduce more positions. Mine was one of them. I didn’t get a “2 week notice”. I’m devastated; I needed to share somewhere and this felt like the place
