I’m SC. I currently work for a company where I am payed commission. I decided to look more into our contract and found that the contract itself is based from NY stating that any work we do shall be compensated to no less then NY minimum wage which is $15. Now here is my question. Do I have possible legal action? We do unpaid “chores” at shop, sometimes offered $10 an hour of shop time or drive time, which is rare at most, and sometimes my effective hourly rate for the week is under the $15 mark.
