Two things.. i work for Amazon delivery, each company gets a certain amount of routes.. but the company will put extra people on the schedule just in case somebody doesn’t come into work.
So for example. Fast transport delivery LLC, will get 30 routes, but will put 33 people on the schedule, so now say 3 people don’t come in.. those extra 3 people that would’ve got sent home.. gets a route.. but if everybody comes into work.. (those with a good score card based on delivery) get their route.. and those with a bad score card gets sent home..
I’ve recently learned, you’re entitled to “show up pay, call in pay”
Is this true? I’ve showed up to work ready to work but get sent home..
Second.. when delivering if you’re behind, dispatch will send some body to rescue you and take some packages from you.. i told one of the dispatchers don’t send that person again because i dont like them and she replied “don’t tell me what to do”. I replied if i get into a fight with this person it’s your fault… she replied “ok” few hours later I’m heading back to the station , the guy approached me saying, you told dispatch and he said something i cant remember, but i told him, yea i dont fuck with you.. then words got exchanged, and we ended up not fighting but we ended up scuffling, and in the process i felll and scraped my knee and got a big cut. My thing is.. you’re my manger and i told you i haVe a issue with some one, why would you go and tell the other person i said that?
What should i do here for both situations.. i can definitely sue for the second problem correct ?
