After 6 months of unemployment I finally signed a job offer. I was so happy to finally get out of this shitty situation. And then they told me I'd have to pass a drug test within 3 days. Never had to do that for any of my previous employers, so not something I would expect. They're testing for cannabis. I take drops maybe twice a months during nights I just can't fall asleep. I'm in a state where its legal, but it doesnt mayter because it's not legal on a federal level or something like that. Took an at home drug test last night, came up positive. Test is due tomorrow. Guess I'm fucked for having anxiety related sleep issues. Ironically I couldn't sleep knowing all this last night and really wanted to take the drops, but didn't in hoping that maybe tomorrow the test won't be positive. I want to laugh and cry at this bullshit at the same time. This is a remote office job. Why are they still testing for weed? I can get shitface drunk every weekend, that's fine, but don't you dare use weed to help you sleep. I'm just so frustrated.
