When I just graduated college around 2017 I put in a job app to work at a local restaurant not far from where I live.
They called me about a month ago asking me if I was “still interested in the position.”
Restaurants are literally pulling out applications they had sitting in a box for 6 years at a desperate attempt to find people to work for $6/hour.
In those 6 years I managed an entire career shift and now finally have a stable and reliable job. I debated on whether or not to just go through with the interview for shits and gigs but restaurants are struggling right now and that’s a waste of my time.
