Sigh. I’m paid every two weeks by direct deposit. This pay period is the second to last one before I quit. I confirmed with a colleague that they did indeed get paid today. I’ve tried contacting the owner and manager multiple times, along with going to the office.. Which surprise surprise, no one is there & the office appears closed. I’ve even sent a message to them both in a group chat. At this point I’ve filed a claim with NJ DOL & Workforce Development Wage and Hourly Division and Contract Compliance. I’m just unsure of what to do, or what will happen next, I’ve never experienced such a thing.
