I almost feel guilty about it because they were nice people, especially for rehiring me after i quit without notice the first time.
But after being back for a few months i realized why i did it the first time, making minimum wage and was being scheduled 4-5 days a week for roughly 22-25 hours. And was expected to complete 4 hours of unpaid training videos and quizzes on my own time. Off the clock. In my own home. Unpaid.
On top of all that, my safety concerns were repeatedly ignored and dismissed, and i was expected to “make it work” in the unsafe conditions i had been complaining about. I really hate how some bosses will hide behind a “cool fun relatable” facade because they're asking for unreasonable demands.
So i ghosted them and i feel 100% better thanks i just wanted to vent <3
