I started a new job at a breakfast restaurant located near several churches, and my first shift was the breakfast shift on Sunday.
The guy I'm working with was bitching about the fact that I couldn't keep up with all of these fancy crepes and french toasts that I was never told how to make.
Who wants to take an educated guess as to why I don't know how to make fancy shit? I can make pancakes and sandwiches easily. Regular French toast? Not a problem. But when you call something hazelnut something or other, excuse me for not realizing that does not include nuts, but Nutella instead!
Thankfully this is just a holdover until I find something decent, since I graduated this past spring. I'm just as struggling to figure out what skills I actually developed in college, cuz I sure as fuck don't feel like I have any.
