I work in banquets and I liked this hotel I used to work for. There were some annoying servers acting like they own the hotel because they have been there forever but I was whatever.
Then a new manager came in. Not that bad of a guy as a person. He brought some of his friends from other places he worked at and now they act like bosses. Get more hours, even though it is supposed to be seniority based. My hours were decreased but it's non-union and I cannot say much. Even sales people brought it up. He has his friend employees working 10+ hours overtime but not me or others.
I feel disappointed and I started disliking the place. Can't tell anything to that banquet manager and the friends he brought acting as bosses are even more annoying.
