I think I’m “difficult” at work

I’m a contracted therapist who gets sent clients to see for home visits. I don’t drive but I’m in a transit and walkableISH city. I gave the company a grid for what parameters I’d be down to commute to. They also know what days and times I’d be down to work. They very regularly send me clients outside of this and I either turn them down or offer to see them clustered with another client that I had begrudgingly accepted for the same reason before, lol. Of the referrals I receive I probably have only taken half… but if they had followed me criteria I’d have taken so many more. Anyways, I feel like I’m a “difficult” person for them to deal with for this reason, but I also make concessions that I hate making to begin with. No idea if this is fair of me or if I’m supposed…

Anyways, I feel like I’m a “difficult” person for them to deal with for this reason, but I also make concessions that I hate making to begin with. No idea if this is fair of me or if I’m supposed to be making more of an effort to accept work that comes my way. I just don’t find it fulfilling spending unpaid hours in traffic on the bus going to the edge of town, and all that time adds up to hours and hours of this. It sucks and you don’t have access to the toilet or to food when you want because you’re just commuting all day.

End rant lol
