I tried to get my first job, but only ended up getting ghosted.

I don't know what the best intro to this story about my first real job interview is, but I need some online place where I can just discuss the things that happened to me, mostly to vent but also as a potential tale of warning. First of all, some notes: I have been diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and I presume that I have Borderline Personality Disorder based on what I know, but I haven't been diagnosed with BPD. I also just have a lot of anxiety in general, and I do take medicine for a lot of these issues, as well as for other things such as my eczema, but my application didn't mention any of these issues, because any potential employer doesn't need to know that. I don't know what the best intro to this story about my first real job interview is, but I need some online place where I can just discuss the things that happened to me, mostly to vent but also as a potential tale of warning. First of all, some notes:

  1. I have been diagnosed with autism and ADHD, and I presume that I have Borderline Personality Disorder based on what I know, but I haven't been diagnosed with BPD. I also just have a lot of anxiety in general, and I do take medicine for a lot of these issues, as well as for other things such as my eczema, but my application didn't mention any of these issues, because any potential employer doesn't need to know that.
  2. I was applying for a part time job at a local Harris Teeter, the cashier / bagger job in particular, I don't remember the title. I didn't want to start with a full time job off the bat, because I have never had a real job before. My application to the Harris Teeter was for that part-time role and it mentioned my lack of experience.
  3. I had a good education, getting my high school diploma, and I probably could have gotten into a good college if I wanted, because I scored well on many of my exams.
  4. I'm very impatient, and if something is supposed to happen before a certain time, I will usually be ready hours before that time and be mad if it's a minute late.

The story starts with me applying to a local Harris Teeter, not hearing anything, hearing about a job-fair event, going in person to that event, and scoring an interview with a manager, who I'll call Cyan, because it's a nice color and I'm not going to use any real names. Cyan was nice, and she seemed like she'd give me the job then and there if I was able to go to training in a week or so.

Unfortunately, I had a vacation in a week or so, and the the way store's system worked, I would need to return after my vacation, and call in a day or two after I got back, so I did that. I asked for Cyan, because she said I had to talk to her, and Cyan told me to go back to the store the next day to meet with Orange, and when I came back, Orange talked about how he'd call me after some time for a follow-up.

That call never happened. It was at least 3 weeks, most likely a month, before I went back to the store to check why I wasn't called, and found out I needed to resubmit my application and return AGAIN because my old application was deleted before I talked to Orange.

I got back to my house, and the very first thing I did was resubmit that application, and when I returned, I had a casual interview with another person, Magenta, who had a lively chat with me about my availability for the job, which I discussed with him, and after that was done, I went back home, expecting yet another call, which, of course, I never got, to this day, over a month later.

I'm not mad just because I didn't get the job, I'm mad because I never got any confirmation that they even knew who I was, let alone that they were supposed to contact me. All of the times me and this Harris Teeter interacted, I was the one who initiated it, despite being told that I would have to wait for them. I would say that this is far from professional, but I don't have a job so I wouldn't know myself.
