I want to resign my contract role (got it through an external recruiting agency)
I just hit the 1 month mark for my current role as a 1 year contract employee and am not a fan of the work (SWE). My manager is oblivious and doesnt care about career growth according to all my coworkers that have been there for awhile
I work in NJ which is an at-will state but a clause in my contract says that I’m required to give my staffing company 2 weeks notice before quitting but they’re allowed to terminate me at any time.
Is this 2 weeks required? I just got an offer from another company but i dont want to quit until the day before I start at the new role
