I have been there on business trips before but never during this time. I literally would have to forgoe holiday time off that everyone gets for a week. My wife does not want me to leave her and our two year old for 2-3 weeks.
I have not said yes or no yet but I still may be roped in anyway because so few people on my team can travel. I hate this because if I say yes my wife and I will be extra stressed during that time and if I say no I may look bad to my manager.
I don't really care about that last part so I will probably just say no.
