I was working at a small HVAC company for two years. Basic call center stuff with a HUGE turn over rate. I was their “senior” worker. I knew everything about that place and it’s operations CSR wise. I was fired today and they claimed it’s because of layoffs? They even let me go pack up my shit and go when typically everyone just gets their stuff mailed. I think they’re covering up the fact that they don’t like that I have intermittent FMLA. I have been having a tough year and after a hospital stay I got on it. I am shocked, sad, hurt, and angry. I wanted to leave but I just wasn’t ready. My boss gave me a $50 Amazon gift card and said good luck.
