I use to work for a ferry company. No names will be said because the people with are good people that i lived with.
I was left alone, so I went to work. I decided to clean the seats to start (I have ADHD). One of the most important things you need to know is ferry seats get bolted close to the ground. I was on the ground to see if gum from the previous year people were sticking there.
I got called into the office and was being terminated. Apparently the coworker who skipped orientation, came after easter(we were to open in two weeks after this) and was preying upon young girls that worked there, was spying on us and he didn't like me because I was an eagle scout. No joke.
He also had me written up for taking bathroom breaks too often(I had ibs) and sitting down so much(I messed up my leg the week before.)
Yet they won't fire him. Because in his words, he's a future captain….fuck him.
Everyone else was upset that I got fired…and months later he's been ignored because of this.
